A recent video that was made on three Copenhagen based artist who all create art on the street. I've been included in the last section that starts about halfway through. Very well filmed and well put together.
Draw nothing and everything, draw yourself, always myself again and again. All the violence and hatred and feelings that I have inside splattered on a page, soo elegantly so destructively. I don't know why I do this, don't know why I create.
This piece is for the neglected young immigrants of Denmark or really citizens with ethnic backrounds, "Does one have to burn cars to be heard". They are so neglected in society that they've turned to setting cars a light so that someone will listen.....or at the very least vent there own frusterations.
below: image used for inspiration (not from copenhagen but a good burning car image)
Finally the new Basco5 "Friendly Fire" tshirt are on sale at my webshop. They are going for 200 kr. / $42.00 (plus shipping costs). I hand silk screened these t shirts and was super happy with the results. I think you'll like them as well.
I was a part of a show here in Copenhagen called Galore at the Valby Culture Hus. I was able to get some great photos off a friend of the show. I worked with a combination of paintings, installation, clothing, and a bird mask. I was happy with the results.
The figure is done in water color and ink, while the triangles are hand painting with liquid acrylics. The size of the piece is A3 (poster size). It's going to be apart of an upcoming show here in CPH. Here's also a little peak at a project I'm working on.
In another few weeks I'll be launching limited edition tshirts and artist prints through my webstore, and possible also a art studio launch for those that live in Copenhagen. Here's a sneak peak:)
