You will be told....

When you are an artist you will be told what to do, what to change and how to make things better in other peoples eyes. You'll be told you need to go to art school, that you need to paint bigger, or in a different medium. You'll be given much advice often from people who haven't tried it them selves. You will be made to feel that you are not good enough, that you are not quite there. Uncertainties and doubts will be planted, and some of them will grow. You might become bitter or angry. You'll fight so many things, conflicts in your head and outside of your self. It will be hard. Shut them out and do what you love because you love to do it. Put your head down and work on what you feel is right, trust your own judgment and wants. This is your life as an artist and no one else. And if all else fails then know that I want you to succeed in your heart desires.
